This video tutorial shows how to create an American flag out of ribbon. This looks great on a door in place of a wreath!
You could definitely make other flags using this method, or just hang pretty colors of ribbon. There’s a lot of ways to change it up!

- a twig or thin wooden rod
- twine or string
- blue ribbon
- red ribbon
- white ribbon
- hot glue
