Hi everyone! In this week’s video tutorial, we’re creating a cute miniature paper backpack that doubles as a gift box/treat box! I think these would make such fun diy teacher gifts! Candy, jewelry or other small objects would fit perfectly in this box.
I don’t know about you, but I love anything miniature – and these mini backpacks are so so cute! You won’t want to fill these too full or you may have trouble getting the box closed, but these can hold quite a bit!

Materials:
- Card stock – it’s best to use heavier paper such as card stock for the box portion and buckles, and lighter weight paper, such as scrapbook paper or construction paper, for the top flap and accent pieces. I used four colors of paper total.
- Score tool – I used this one from EK Tools, but you can even use a pen that no longer writes.
- Glue or adhesive – I like to use hot glue because it has a quick, strong hold
- X-Acto Knife or other craft knife
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
Click below for each of the paper backpack templates (you will need all of these to complete the box, and I’ve separated them out to print on different colors of paper):

Cool! I would give it to my Grandpa who’s retired and say, “Betcha miss going to work every day?!, HUH”
I made this and gave to my mom who is a homeschooling mom for 5 children. lol! she loved it
