Crepe Paper Tulip Tutorial

Hi everyone! Spring is officially here, and one of the first flowers that comes to mind in the Spring (at least for me) are tulips! So, in this week’s video tutorial we’re making crepe paper tulips!

As crepe paper flowers go, I’d say these are some of the least difficult and they don’t take a long time to make, either!

Materials:

  • Crepe paper in four colors: yellow, light yellow-green, green and pink. I get mine here from papermart.com – it’s the most affordable I’ve ever come across!
  • Floral stem wire – I used 18 gauge but something like 16 gauge would be better
  • Floral tape in light green
  • Tacky glue or hot glue
  • Paper for the pattern
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Flower pot or vase
  • Black Spanish moss (optional)
  • Hot glue
  • Floral foam

Please let me know if you have questions 🙂

  1. I love your crepe paper flower tutorials. A printable PDF of all your petal shapes would be super helpful! Sometimes my “eyeballing” of the shapes doesn’t turn out quite right. Thanks!
