Hello, my name is Sarah!

First off, thank you so much for taking the time to check out my website! This website was created to help others find their creativity. I’ve been posting craft tutorials on my YouTube channel, Pugdemonium, since 2011!

A few years later, I created a blog, also called pugdemonium, where I posted patterns and things to complement my video tutorials on my channel. As things have grown, and after realizing the limitations of that platform, I decided to make this website – and named it Essyjae after my initials, S.E.J. I hope this new site makes pattern files more accessible and finding projects a better experience.

I come from a family of artists and am passionate about creativity. It is such a great feeling of accomplishment to make something yourself! Whether you make a card, a paper flower, or knitted hat, your project will have your own special twist.
